In colla­boration with the Fuss­zentrum Wien (Foot Center Vienna) at Alser Straße 43/8d, just around the corner from Con­fraternität & Goldenes Kreuz Private Hospital, and the Doctor's Office of Peter Bock, MD, the Center for Foot Surgery serves as a specia­list hub offering the full range of dia­gnostic options and treat­ments, from the initial medical history to any necessary surgery, as well as post-operative and preven­tive care.

We are the only private hospital in Vienna equipped with a mini C-arm x-ray system for ortho­pedic investi­gations; this equip­ment is specially adapted to the needs of foot surgery and provides the atten­ding doctor with reliable, high-quality imaging, allowing even better and more precise moni­toring of treat­ment out­comes.

All operations are per­formed at Confraternität & Goldenes Private Hospital, which provides com­prehen­sive in­patient care services and has at its dis­posal a medical infra­structure that in­cludes the latest tech­nology.

Expert team

Our experienced orthopedic consultants, Prof. Hans-Jörg Trnka, MD, Karl-Heinz Kristen, MD, Michel Chraim, MD and Peter Bock, MD are specia­lists in struc­tural changes to the fore­foot (e.g. hallux valgus (bunions), splay foot) and hind foot (e.g. flat feet, arthritis of the ankle). These experts are attending physi­cians at Confraternität Private Hospital. The team also includes other ex­perienced specia­lists in both conser­vative and surgical treat­ment methods for foot problems, sports ortho­pedics, physio­therapy, and rehabi­litation.
