Which prenatal examinations are offered at the center?

The Head of the Center, Hubertus Gregor, MD, is a specia­list in gyneco­logy and obstetrics with many years of ex­perience in prenatal medi­cine. Together with his team, he offers the entire spec­trum of ultra­sound dia­gnostics during preg­nancy:

First trimester screening and combined test (12th – 14th week of preg­nancy)

Early detailed ultrasound with nuchal trans­lucency / nuchal fold measure­ment and combined test to deter­mine the risk of three chromo­somal abnorma­lities (trisomy 21, 18 and 13), including screening for pre-eclampsia.

Non-invasive prenatal test – NIPT (possible from week 9+1 of preg­nancy)

Blood draw for high-precision assess­ment of the risk of various chromo­somal dis­orders and some micro­deletions, based on fetal DNA compo­nents in the mother’s blood.

Organ screening (20th – 23rd week of pregnancy)

Detailed ultrasound for precise assess­ment of the brain, face, spine, chest with heart and lungs, ab­dominal wall and ab­dominal organs, kidneys, bladder and skeleton.

3D/4D ultrasound (24th – 30th week of pregnancy)

Baby contact with three-dimensional images and real-time video recor­dings – images and videos in electro­nic and printed form to take home with you.

Growth ultrasound (last trimester of pregnancy)

Sonographic assessment of fetal growth, the amount of amnio­tic fluid and fetal well-being, as well as an addi­tional check of indivi­dual anatomi­cal structures.

Control ultrasound

When clinically indicated, for high-risk pregnan­cies or to obtain a second opi­nion.
