Nursing care tasks include:

Ward nursing

You will be cared for by qualified nursing and health care professionals led by a specially trained ward nurse. We want you to feel well looked after, in terms of both nursing care and holistic care for your wellbeing; and we follow all the defined procedures for standards of care and hygiene in doing so.

Nursing process

On admission we will talk through your medical history, which helps us get to know you, and answer any questions you have about our care during your hospital stay. The information gathered in this discussion is compiled, and appropriate care diagnoses, requirements and objectives are formulated. All this is included in a care plan. Activities in your nursing care process are recorded regularly in a care report.

Ward rounds

Daily ward rounds include discussion with you on the effectiveness of all diagnostic, therapeutic and care procedures. Your referring physician is responsible for your treatment, and we can contact him/her at any time – including at your request.

Mobilization

One of our key priorities is to ensure that you maintain or recover your mobility. On the basis of your doctor’s diagnostic information, an individually prescribed treatment plan is developed, which ends with preparing you for discharge from the hospital, with any mobility aids you may need.

Positive thinking

is a major factor in your recovery process. So one of our priority tasks in discussions is to motivate you as much as possible.

Support

We offer our support but aim to ensure we do not patronize you in any way. Please don’t hesitate to ask if anything is unclear or if there is anything else you want to know.

Information

Information about you will only be given to the trusted person(s) you have specified by name. Medical information can only be provided by your doctor. For any questions on nursing care please ask your care staff or the head nurse.
